It looks like everyone is getting out and about after the last two years of COVID. The Retreat House is filling up and we are THRILLED! As Guests and revenue continue to increase, we are planning to get back on track with fun improvements to make your stay even more enjoyable! As some of you are aware, we created a different Bird theme for each bedroom. All the beds are now made up before your arrival with linens and quilts matching the Rooms Theme. You can choose from the Flamingo Room, The Peacock Room, The Blue Heron Room and the Hummingbird Room. There is a Massage Chair in the Living Area to relax those tired muscles. For those Groups who are Quilters, we have a Quilt shop just a few miles away. All guests receive 10% off your purchases every time you visit the shop during your stay. We still have plans to put a Mini Quilt Shop at the Retreat House. Hopefully 2023 will make that happen! Our wonderful Handyman Jeff built a picnic table out in the backyard for quiet times watching the wild life and listening to the birds. We have added chairs and tables in the Screened in Porch overlooking Club Lake behind the Retreat to enjoy meals or drinks while taking in the view. Spontaneity Weekends are popping up almost monthly now! If you have a smaller group or if you just want to join other ladies enjoying their crafts, check our calendar for those dates.
